Building Performance Institute (BPI)

The Building Performance Institute (BPI) operates a nationally recognized credentialing program that guarantees individual excellence in the evaluation and diagnosis of home energy issues, and assures superior skill in installation. All Orange Energy Solutions building analysts who perform assessments and recommend corrective measures are BPI certified. These employees have had training in BPI's rigorous house-as-a-system approach and are kept conscientiously up-to-date on certification (BPI requires Building Analysts to be re-certified every three years).  

BPI Building Analysts are certified to conduct blower-door tests, combustion appliance inspection and repair, air quality testing including carbon monoxide detection, duct testing and airflow testing in addition to many other contracting services.

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR

Orange Energy Solutions is a certified contractor through the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program, a program that certifies energy efficient products, such as appliances, consumer electronics, heating & cooling equipment, windows, and insulation. PA Home Energy uses ENERGY STAR programs for both new home construction and improving existing homes. ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Department of Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy.
