Ulf Åkerblom, Founder
uakerblom@orangeenergysolutions.com
Ulf is a serial entrepreneur and international business executive. He moved to the US in 2005 when working as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development for Artimplant AB, a public Swedish biomaterials company making implants used in orthopedic surgery. His job in the US was to run Artimplant USA, Inc. as the company’s President.
“Coming from Sweden to live in the US, I soon realized how energy inefficient most homes are over here, and how much money a homeowner potentially could save by insulating and sealing, and by installing renewable systems such as geothermal. And I wanted to start a geothermal business. So I met Gary and we talked, and then I met John, and we all talked, and here we are.”
