At the top of the triangle are Energy Credits (EC). If you install systems that create clean energy or make effeciency improvements to your home or building, you might be entitled to receive additional compensation beyond the value of the energy created or saved.  An Orange Energy affiliate aggregates these credits and monetizes them for your benefit.   

Orange Energy Solutions offers a holistic approach to ENERGY EFFICIENCY. Our focus is residential and small commercial buildings.

Taking a holistic approach helps you understand how your home works as a system, and helps you to dimension your systems. For example, if you need to replace your HVAC system, you have to make sure you don’t over-size it. Insulate and seal air leakage of the building envelope first.

Energy efficiency for homeowners and small businesses starts with assessing the condition of your house and how tight it is. Because over-sizing your HVAC installations doesn’t give you extra comfort. It is just waste of energy and money. By tightening the envelope you get more with less.

That is why we at Orange always start out with an energy audit. The energy audit will tell you what you need to do to
  •  lessen the carbon footprint
  •  reduce your energy bill
  •  create more indoor comfort
With the information from the audit, we will design a program that will reach any or all of the three goals.
  •  Weatherizations will tighten leaks and insulate where needed.
  •  More efficient appliances and lighting will be proposed.
  •  Heating and cooling systems, like solar panels to generate electricity, solar thermal systems for hot water, and geothermal installations will be part of the program proposal.
